Emirates is the world’s largest international airline. From its hub in Dubai, Emirates connects people and economies around the globe, by inspiring travel and facilitating trade across more than 155 destinations in 81 countries and territories. On board its modern and efficient fleet of 249 aircraft, Emirates offers award-winning comfort and service, delivered by friendly cabin crew representing over 130 nationalities. Today, Emirates operates the world’s largest fleets of the iconic A380 and popular Boeing 777s, and has an order book for another 249 more of these modern jets.

Emirates celebrated 25 years of flying from Manchester Airport in 2015. During that quarter of a century, it carried more than eight million passengers to and from Dubai, with nearly half of that in the last five years. That has been driven by Emirates increasing the frequency of its flights to three a day, two of which are operated by its A380 super-jumbo aircraft - the only airline to use an A380 at Manchester. Their success in the region is a testament to the growth of both Manchester and Dubai as popular global business and leisure destinations.

The iconic Emirates Airbus A380 also serves their Birmingham gateway, allowing passengers flying from the Midlands to fly to Dubai and beyond, across an ever expanding global network. The aircraft features 58 flat-bed seats in Business Class and 557 spacious seats in Economy Class, as well as Emirates’ popular Onboard Lounge. The newest configuration of the Emirates A380 also features the widest individual in-seat Economy Class screens in the industry, measuring in at 13.3 inches and offers over 2,500 channels on inflight entertainment system ice.
