Business Sheffield is Sheffield City Council’s business support arm. We’re here to help all Sheffield businesses thrive in our city and fulfil their potential: from high-tech manufacturers to high street independents, and from the city’s biggest employers to those that are just starting out.

Our team is made up of expert Business Advisers in a range of fields tailored to Sheffield’s needs, offering workshops, webinars, events and one-to-one support. This includes Start-up Advisors specifically supporting businesses at the start of their journey, and our Tech Advisors who do specialised work with tech start-ups. Our free workshop programme encompasses everything a new entrepreneur needs to make a strong start, including our popular Top Tips for Starting Up.
