Both Counter Context and Altitude were founded in the city and have a deep pride in Sheffield.

For nearly 30 years Counter Context has provided calm and considered communications advice for those shaping the built environment, including local authorities, universities, developers and funders. Over the years, the company has grown from humble beginnings to being ranked 10th in the Top 50 PR Agencies in the North of England.

Coming out the pandemic, Altitude PR was born with a passion to help businesses and organisations in South Yorkshire to be more confident and to spread the word about the amazing things happening in the city and region. Through smart, flexible, and creative PR, Altitude gives clients a competitive advantage. The company has grown from strength to strength and is supporting some of most exciting businesses and institutions in the UK.

Both companies are proud members of Sheffield Chamber. Members of our team also played a central role in the setting up and supporting the Sheffield Property Association and the Sheffield Culture Collective. They have raised over £100,000 for good causes in the city including Sheffield Childrens Hospital Charity, the Cathedral Archer Project and many others.
